Warner Bros. Discovery has set the official release date for the Wonka 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release, while also confirming that the film will be available to own digitally on January 30, 2024.
After arriving early for premium digital ownership, Wonka will release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 27, 2024. The film will retail for $29.99 on 4K UHD, $24.99 on Blu-ray, and $19.99 on DVD. The premium digital ownership version of the film will retail for $24.99, with a 48-hour rental option available for $19.99.
The prequel is led by Timothée Chalamet as a young version of the eccentric Chocolate Factory owner. Joining him are Hugh Grant, Sally Hawkins, Olivia Colman, Rowan Atkinson, Matthew Baynton, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, Simon Farnaby, Rich Fulcher, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Paterson Joseph, Keegan-Michael Key, Calah Lane, Matt Lucas, Colin O’Brien, Natasha Rothwell, Rakhee Thakrar, and Ellie White.
