The trailer for Sort Of Season 3 sets the premiere date for the final season of the Max comedy series, which follows the character of Sabi (Bilal Baig) after the death of their father.
The eight-episode third and final season of the Max Original comedy series premieres with two episodes on Thursday, January 18 on Max. From there, two episodes will drop weekly through February 8.

What’s Sort Of about, and who else is in the cast?
“Sabi comes to terms with feelings of grief and an unexpected sense of freedom following the death of their father. Without the constraints of living up to dad’s expectations, Sabi confronts big questions about their identity, prompting some massive life choices,” per the official synopsis. “In a season that has the entire ensemble grappling with aftermaths, a rebirth comes in a sort of messy, sort of hopeful, sort of ‘Sort Of’ way.”
Along with Baig, the cast includes Gray Powell, Ellora Patnaik, Amanda Cordner, Supinder Wraich, Gregory Ambrose Calderone, Kaya Kanashiro, Aden Bedard, Becca Blackwell, Grace Lynn Kung, Alanna Bale, and Cassandra James.
Sort Of has received positive reviews from critics. It has the distinction of being the most-nominated television series at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards. It has also won Best Comedy Series at the Canadian Screen Awards twice, in addition to winning a Peabody Award.
A Max Original in association with CBC Originals, it is produced by Sphere Media. Sort Of is created by Baig and Fab Filippo, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers. Sphere Media’s Jennifer Kawaja and Bruno Dubé are also executive producers on the series.
