In late December 2024, Pinkvilla reported that Tripti Dimri, fresh from the success of her film Animal, would star opposite Aaryan in the upcoming project, which is set to begin production in the first quarter of 2024. If these reports turn out to be accurate, Aashiqui 3 can come out in 2025 at the earliest.
