KBS released The Matchmakers Episode 12 photos ahead of its premiere. Starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, the rom-com K-drama will explore the lead characters’ feelings for each other in the upcoming episode.
Episode 11 ended with Rowoon’s Sim Jung-Woo finding out that he is the mythical matchmaker, Ssangyeonsulsa. Despite the good news, he is sad because Cho Yi-Hyun’s Soon-Deok (aka Yeo Joo-Daek) has rejected his marriage proposal.
The recently released photo stills of The Matchmakers episode 12 hint at tension and suspense. It also shows Jung-Woo and Joo-Daek working together even after his failed marriage proposal.

The Matchmakers Episode 12 release date and time & plot
The Matchmakers episode 12 will air on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. It will later be available on Viki with subtitles. Episode 13 will be released on the next day.
The latest The Matchmakers episode 12 photos feature Jung-Woo (Rowoon) and Soon-Deok (Cho Yi-Hyun) in deep thought. The next picture shows an alarmed Park So-Hyun (Park Ji-Young), Soon-Deok’s mother-in-law. The fourth photo features Inspector Jung Soon-Goo (Huh Nam-Jun) and Jung-Woo looking at a board tracing a murder case.
The final two stills show Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun’s characters looking at the three old maidens’ photos. Jung-Woo’s side face is visible, and it appears that he is happy with the situation.
Earlier, the network released The Matchmakers episode 12 trailer. It began with Jung-Woo asking Soon-Deok about her family. Her mother-in-law is in search of the matchmaker with whom Jung-Woo is working. It means Soon-Deok’s Joo-Daek disguise is in trouble.
The preview also teased the Left State Minister’s plan to kill Jung-Woo. The video ends with Jung-Woo and Soon-Deok coming closer to each other for a kiss.
The Matchmakers airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS and Viki.
