My Demon, starring Song Kang and Kim Yoo-Jung, has been gaining much attention over the past week. The series premiered on November 24, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS and is available to stream on Netflix. The series follows the story of a chaebol heiress, Do Do-Hee (Kim Yoo-Jung), who comes into contact with the demon Jung Gu-Won (Song Kang). The demon enters into a contract marriage with Do-Hee after she attains his powers.
The newly released photos of the upcoming My Demon episode 3 teases more interactions between Do-Hee and Gu-Won. Moreover, the photos also tease Gu-Won’s new role, which is to be Do-Hee’s bodyguard. The past two episodes have brought significant dangers to Do-Hee’s life from her adoptive family members. Now that she has attained demonic powers from Gu-Won, he will stick by her to use the powers. Thus, viewers will have to stay tuned to find out where the collaboration will head.

The first two episodes of My Demon have seen Do-Hee getting attacked multiple times by her adoptive family members who are jealous of her. However, Gu-Won has come to her rescue every time. By the end of episode 2, Do-Hee calls him her “salvation,” an unfamiliar and mysterious man who came crashing into her life.
Given that Do-Hee is at risk, her adoptive mother, Madam Ju, will find one way or another to ensure her safety. But before that happens, Do-Hee has other plans. In the newly released photos, Gu-Won follows Do-Hee to her office with a Bluetooth headset. It looks like she has hired the demon as her bodyguard, while Gu-Won seems to take the job seriously.
In the first picture, Gu-Won attempts to hold Do-Hee’s hand as they enter her office. The next few pictures show the two engaged in a conversation with each other when Do-Hee looks at him in surprise. In the final picture, Gu-Won seems to be holding a bucket while glaring at someone. Given that he’s Do-Hee’s bodyguard, he will do everything to protect her.
Moreover, Gu-Won knows that his powers have shifted to Do-Hee. If he doesn’t use his power to make deals with humans or eliminate them based on their contract, he suffers the risk of combustion. The only way for him to use his powers is using Do-Hee’s hand. This makes it even more comfortable for Gu-Won to be her bodyguard as he can stay near her and use his powers.
