KBS recently released The Matchmakers episode 9 trailer. Starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, the lead characters are now set on a new mission that would bring them closer to each other.
In the episode 8 ending, Rowoon’s Sim Jung-Woo accuses Yeo Joo-Daek’s Cho Yi-Hyun of murder. He thinks she may have killed the Left State Minister’s eldest son. However, he doesn’t know that she is the widow of the second son. The trailer for The Matchmakers episode 9 teases Jung-Woo trying to prove Joo-Daek’s innocence.

The Matchmakers episode 9 will air on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. It will later be available on Viki.
The recently released The Matchmakers episode 9 trailer begins with Jung-Woo saying, “Do you mistakenly believe that I have personal feelings towards Yoo Joo-Daek?” Someone replies that he is “lovesick.”
Meanwhile, Joo-Daek, aka Soon-Deok, is concerned about the accusation. She claims that she and her brother, Inspector Jung Soon-Goo, are connected to the murder case of the Left State Minister’s eldest son. It further appears that Jung-Woo and Soon-Goo join forces to help Joo-Daek in solving the case.
The next few scenes feature some heart-fluttering moments between Rowoon’s Sim Jung-Woo and Yeo Joo-Daek (Cho Yi-Hyun). The trailer ends with a woman’s voice as she refers to Jung-Woo and says, “You know better than anyone that the two of you cannot be together, Your Excellency!”
Going by the preview, The Matchmakers episode 9 promises to be intense. It will deal with a controversial murder case and Jung-Woo’s feelings towards Joo-Daek. For those who are unaware, Jung-Woo is the widowed prince whose wife died during their wedding ceremony. Joo-Daek, on the other hand, is Soon-Deok in reality. She is the Left State Minister’s widowed daughter-in-law, who adopted the deceased eldest son’s child.
