According to TVLine, TBS has officially decided not to renew its anthology comedy series Miracle Workers for a fifth season.
The cancellation comes after nearly three months since the Daniel Radcliffe-led fourth season, titled End Times, concluded its 10-episode run. The final installment took place in a post-apocalyptic setting, which featured the Harry Potter alum playing a wasteland warrior dealing with the challenges of married life.
Who was involved in Miracle Workers?
Miracle Workers was an anthology comedy that was created by Simon Rich. Each season featured the same all-star cast playing new roles in a new setting. The series also starred Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. It was executive produced by showrunners Dan Mirk and Robert Padnick, along with Radcliffe, Buscemi, Rich, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Katy Jenson.
“Last season followed a wasteland warrior and ruthless warlord as they face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs,” reads the synopsis. “Together they navigate the existential horrors of married life and small-town living, all under the dubious guidance of a wealthy junk trader.”
