Netflix has released the first Squid Game: The Challenge clip from its newest reality competition, based on the first season of the widely-successful K-drama of the same name.
The video introduces two of its 456 players, who are a mother-and-son duo from Chicago. The clip previews a glimpse of the show’s first challenge, which is the “Red Light, Green Light” game. Trey describes his mother as a former athlete, who he believes has what it takes to outlast him in the competition. Meanwhile, his mother expresses her worries about surviving the first game. The show will be available for streaming on November 22.
