As Gal Gadot will not be reprising her role in the DCU, as per the recent report, she will likely be replaced.
However, neither DC Studios nor James Gunn themselves have officially announced anything regarding Gadot’s replacement as Wonder Woman in the DCU or her reprisal.
Despite the lack of confirmation, it is very likely that she will be replaced. Gadot’s name was notably absent when James Gunn recently confirmed via Threads, that only three actors from the DCEU will continue playing their characters in his DC Universe: Xolo Mariduena (Blue Beetle), John Cena (Peacemaker), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
Who could be the new Wonder Woman actor?
If there is to be a new Wonder Woman actor, fans have regularly imagined Ana de Armas playing the role. She is a rising Hollywood star who has recently been in a string of high-profile films like No Time to Die, Knives Out, and Blade Runner 2049.
