Peacock has released the first-look photos for its upcoming adventure comedy titled Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, which hails from Saturday Night Live’s breakout trio Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall.
The photos feature the Please Don’t Destroy trio in their acting feature debut, as their characters embark on treasure hunting journey. It also teased the appearances of Conan O’Brien and fellow SNL cast member Bowen Yang. The film will be available for streaming on November 17, exclusively on Peacock.
What to Expect in The Treasure of Foggy Mountain?
“In the film, John Goodman narrates the adventure of Ben, Martin, and John, three childhood friends turned deadbeat co-workers, who fend off hairless bears, desperate park rangers and a hypocritical cult leader (Bowen Yang) in the hopes of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey,” reads the synopsis.
Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain is directed by Paul Briganti (Saturday Night Live) from a screenplay co-written by Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall. Joining the comedic trio are Bowen Yang, Meg Stalter, X Mayo, Nichole Sakura, Cedric Yarbrough, Sunita Mani and Conan O’Brien.
It is produced by Judd Apatow (Superbad) and Jimmy Miller (Bad Teacher), with the Please Don’t Destroy trio executive producing. Additional executive producers are Paul Briganti, Josh Church, Sam Hansen, Matt Riley, and Michael Sledd, with Albertina Rizzo set as producer.
