Chanko Studios has released a new It’s A Wrap! trailer to announced the game’s release date window and that it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. The trailer shows off the AMC Games-published title’s brain-teasing puzzles and Hollywood-esque settings.
What is the It’s a Wrap! release date window?
It’s A Wrap! is set to launch on PC and Nintendo Switch this summer, with an exact release date set to be revealed at Gamescom, which takes place from Wednesday, August 23 to Sunday, August 27. The game currently has a Steam demo available for those who wish to try it ahead of its full release.

It’s A Wrap! is developed by Chanko Studios and AMC Games. The 80s-cinema-inspired puzzle platformer has been selected for Gamescom’s Indie Arena Booth. The game has won numerous awards, including the Critic’s Choice Award at Indie Game Fest 2023 and the Excellence in Design from BitSummit 2022.
“It’s a Wrap! is part puzzle, part 2D platforming, but one-hundred-and-ten percent 80s nostalgia-inducing,” reads the game’s official description. “Players take up the roles of director and actor, designing the scenes with a unique ‘timeline editing’ mechanic, then jumping into the action as a movie star … to somewhat disastrous consequences. Talk about a double threat!”
