A nude scene with Florence Pugh in Oppenheimer has been censored in India.
Christopher Nolan’s new historical thriller movie stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, who would become known as the father of the atomic bomb. Pugh, well-known for her roles in Midsommar, Black Widow, and Don’t Worry Darling, appears in the film as Jean Tatlock, a troubled woman who Murphy’s character has a romantic relationship with.
There are two nude scenes in the movie featuring Pugh, and they have been censored. One scene features Pugh nude and sitting on a sofa seat. However, in India, her body was covered with a CGI black dress to classify the movie in the U/A category.
A few tweets have also alleged that the sex scenes have been censored in other countries, such as Indonesia and Pakistan.
