God Is a Bullet Trailer Previews Nikolaj Coster-Waldau & Jamie Foxx Movie

An official God Is A Bullet trailer has been released for XYZ Films‘ upcoming revenge thriller. It features Game of Thrones vet Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as a detective who quits his job in order to save his daughter from a satanic cult.

The video shows Coster-Waldau’s Bob Hightower teaming up with Maika Monroe‘s Case Hardin and Jamie Foxx‘s The Ferryman, who are the only ones that can help him infiltrate the cult. The film is slated to arrive in theaters on June 23.

What to Expect in God Is a Bullet?

Based on Boston Teran’s best-selling novel, God Is a Bullet is inspired by true events. The action thriller is written and directed by Nick Cassavetes. The adaptation stars Maika Monroe, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Karl Glusman, January Jones, Paul Johansson, David Thornton and Jamie Foxx.

“The film follows detective Bob Hightower, who finds his ex-wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped by an insidious cult,” reads the synopsis. “Bob takes matters into his own hands and infiltrates the secretive cult to try to save his daughter. With the help of the cult’s only female victim escapee, Case Hardin, Bob and Case go down the rabbit hole with The Ferryman to save his daughter and find closure for Case from the cult – and its maniacal leader – that took so much away from her.”

God Is a Bullet is executive produced by Natalie Perrotta, Paul Johansson, Sidney Kimmel, Jamie Foxx, Chuck Pacheco, Jim Steele, and Santiago García Galván. Producers are Michael Mendelsohn from Patriot Pictures, Donald V. Allen. Kim H. Winther and Jim Steele.
