When to Watch Troll on Netflix
Netflix will release Troll at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Thursday, December 1. Tomb Raider filmmaker Roar Uthaug directed the movie based on his original idea. This fantasy-action film stars Ine Marie Wilmann, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, Gard B. Eidsvold, Pål Richard Lunderby, and more. The film will center on the titular gigantic creature awakening from within the Norwegian mountains and going on a rampage through the countryside towards the country’s capital, Oslo.
“Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years,” reads the synopsis. “Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?”
