Netflix has released the official The Crown Season 5 trailer, which highlights the new cast members including Imelda Staunton and Elizabeth Debicki’s versions of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana. Season 5 will be available for streaming on November 9.

Like previous seasons, The Crown Season 5 will now feature an entirely new cast led by Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Jonny Lee Miller as John Major. They will also serve as the final cast of the series as they are expected to return for the sixth and final installment of the award-winning drama.
For its fourth season, the series won seven major Emmy Awards last year including Outstanding Lead Actor for Josh O’Connor, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Gillian Anderson, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Tobias Menzies.

The Crown hails from creator/writer Peter Morgan, director Stephen Daldry and producer Andy Harries (The Queen). Since its debut, it has won a number of awards including three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Emma Corrin. The fourth season also took home multiple major awards including Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
