Chainsaw Man Chapter 102 Recap
Asa and Yuko run away from the giant Devil chasing them. However, they get caught in the chaos, and Yuko becomes unconscious. Asa sees that a piece of the bar stabbed through Yuko’s ankle. The War Devil tells her to kill Yuko so she can transform her into a weapon. Asa is visibly conflicted, and the War Devil tries to convince her to do it. However, Asa decides to continue running away while carrying Yuko. Unfortunately, Asa trips and falls, which has usually happened to her at essential events. She remembers when she was running away from a Devil with her mother. While running, Asa picked up a cat, but she tripped. Her mother grabs her and the cat and pushes them away. Unfortunately, her mother died right after.
Asa recalls rejecting Yuko’s offering of her shoes because she didn’t want to feel pitied. However, Yuko mentioning the importance of her “heart in the right place” struck a chord with Asa.
