An eye-catching limited series focusing on the life of Mike Tyson is debuting on Hulu in August.
The streaming service just released the official trailer for Mike, the upcoming eight-episode limited series featuring the well-known boxing champion. The series will follow the rise and fall of the combat sports legend throughout his career. Mike will premiere on Hulu on Aug. 25, and two new episodes will follow weekly. The series stars Moonlight alum Trevante Rhodes and Russell Hornsby (Creed II). The cast also includes Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier, Li Eubanks, Olunike Adeliyi, and B.J. Minor.

Focusing the lens on Mike Tyson, the series examines class in America, race in America, fame and the power of media, misogyny, the wealth divide, the promise of the American Dream, and ultimately our own role in shaping Mike’s story. Mike is an unauthorized and no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson – and it is one wild ride.”
Steven Rogers created Mike and is also executive producing. Karin Gist serves as the showrunner in addition to executive producing. The series sees the I, Tonya team as executive producers, including director Craig Gillespie, Clubhouse Pictures’ Bryan Unkeless, and Scott Morgan, together with LuckyChap’s Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie.
It is a production by 20th Television. Executive producers are Claire Brown, Darin Friedman of Entertainment 360, Anthony Hemingway, as well as Anthony Sparks, and Samantha Corbin-Miller.
