According to Deadline, Sony Pictures has officially set the release date for director Gene Stupnitsky’s forthcoming R-rated comedy film, No Hard Feelings. No Hard Feelings will be directed by Gene Stupnitsky from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Phillips, who is also set as an executive producer. It serves as Stupnitsky’s follow-up project to his 2019 feature directorial debut, Good Boys. The film will be produced by Lawrence, Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, and Justine Polsky.
The story is set to take place in Montauk, New York. Further details about its plot and Lawrence’s character are still being kept under wraps, but it’s being described as in the same vein as other comedy films such as Bad Teacher, There’s Something About Mary, and Risky Business.
