The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
Inside the apartment, Ashiya begins scolding Urushihara. On his way out, Maou bumps into Emi. Maou and Emi get into an argument over their living conditions since Emi is more well-off than Maou and the others. In the middle of their fight, Maou seems to sense something mysterious. After Emi asks what’s wrong, he quickly dismisses it. After Maou leaves for work, Ashiya tells Urushihara that he has decided to look for a more stable job. With that, Urushihara has to keep up with the household chores.
Meanwhile, Maou and Chiho meet at work. Maou shows off the new bike that Suzuno bought for him since the previous one was destroyed. While Suzuno and Emi are having tea, Emi also senses something off within the surroundings. Emi wonders if another assassin is coming or if Sariel has something to do with it. At MgRonald’s, Sariel continues to express his admiration for the manager, Kisaki. While working, Maou remembers the odd presence he felt. Meanwhile, Ashiya begins teaching Urushihara how to do household chores properly. While Ashiya is teaching Urushihara how to fold a shirt, Urushihara says he sensed something.
After their shift, Chiho asks Maou if she can stop by the apartment. Maou thinks it’s best Chiho visits another time. But due to the sudden rain, Chiho ends up visiting since Maou forgot to bring his umbrella. At the apartment, everyone freaks out over a cockroach. Shortly after, they begin lighting up the flax stalks. Suzuno asks if Maou has ancestors. Maou says he does, although he barely remembers his parents. Suddenly, the Gate opens, and a large golden apple falls. Maou and Emi begin arguing over the weird occurrence that just happened. After Maou insults Emi, she takes out her sword. Maou uses the apple to shield himself, but a pair of arms emerge from the apple. Suddenly, a small girl appears. After she wakes up, she introduces herself as Alas Ramus. She also claims that her parents are Maou and Emi.
