Variety writes that Wolfhard and Bryk will not only write and direct, but also star in the film alongside Fred Hechinger (The White Lotus). Principal photography is set to begin in Ontario this month.
“I am so excited to be co-directing my first feature film,” Wolfhard stated. “I get the chance to work with an incredible cast and crew, and to work with a company like 30West and Aggregate is a real dream.”
This isn’t Wolfhard’s first directorial role, as he directed the short film Night Shifts in 2020, which won him a Silver Audience Award for best Canadian short.
