The adaption is under the Columbia Pictures banner and will release on August 11, 2023, should everything go smoothly. Deadline also dug up a plot description that explains how a Hollywood studio could adapt a pure driving experience to the narrative realm.

Gran Turismo 7 is the latest game in the franchise, releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in March of this year. The game received high scores from the reviewing press and impressed fans with its attention to detail and its expansive gameplay options.
