Coming off of successfully winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in West Side Story, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Ariana DeBose will officially be joining the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s sci-fi drama Westworld. Further details about her role are still being kept under wraps, but she is expected to appear in several episodes as a recurring guest star.

Westworld is a dystopian sci-fi drama based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 film of the same name. It is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth. It centers around a technologically-advanced amusement park, where human-like android hosts are programmed to fulfill each high-paying guest’s wants and desires.
The series stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, and Rodrigo Santoro. They were joined by Aaron Paul, Lena Waithe, Marshawn Lynch, and Vincent Cassel in the third installment.

The Emmy-winning series is created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, who are also serving as executive producers with J.J. Abrams, Richard J. Lewis, Roberto Patino, Athena Wickham, and Ben Stephenson.
