Although the De La Salle High School Spartans may have made a name for themselves thanks to their incredible 151-game winning streak, this Friday’s When the Game Stands Tall aims to prove that there’s a lot more that goes into becoming a winning team than just scoring points. Jim Caviezel stars as coach Bob Ladouceur in the true football story directed by Thomas Carter (Coach Carter, Save the Last Dance).
ComingSoon.net sat down with Caviezel and co-stars Michael Chiklis, Alexander Ludwig and Ser’Darius Blain as well as the real Ladouceur and assistant coach Terry Eidson to go behind the scenes of the new film and, for the real people involved, to discuss the surreal experience of seeing one’s life fictionalized on the big screen.
