Made in Abyss is already set to return to TV screens this July with its second season, and fans don’t have to stop at the show to get their fix. Developer Chime Corporation and publisher Spike Chunsoft have announced Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness for this fall for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.

Falling into Darkness is a 3D action RPG that lets players explore the world of the show in a game for the first time. The campaign features a retelling of the first season and an original story supervised by series creator Akihito Tsukushi. Cutscenes feature full voice acting from the anime cast in both English and Japanese, so there are no hard choices between dubs and subs.
The first season of Made in Abyss ran back in July 2017 for 13 episodes, and this new action RPG is part of a resurgence for the show. In addition to the second season of the anime and a new game, there has been some talk of a live-action film currently in development. This all stems from the original manga, which has been published in 10 volumes since it started in 2012.
