The hit manga series Dr. Stone by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi will officially come to a close, with the final chapter set to appear in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.

The latest issue, Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #14, will see Chapter 232 of Dr. Stone released, and with it ending a series that has run for five years, with the series set to come to a close almost exactly five years after it began, on March 7, 2022. Dr. Stone began in March 2017, and quickly became one of the most popular mangas in circulation. The series saw an anime adaptation produced, which is currently in production for its third season.

Since its inception, Dr. Stone has gone on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide and has also won the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award, which celebrates some of the best manga in Japan.
