Focus Features has released the official The Outfit trailer for Oscar winner Graham Moore’s forthcoming directorial debut film. The video features an expert tailor as he suddenly gets involved with a group of mobsters who are trying to get something from him.
The crime drama thriller is currently slated to hit theaters on February 25, 2022. Its theatrical release will see the film going up against Sony Pictures Classics’ romantic drama Mothering Sunday.

The Outfit is directed by Oscar-winning scribe Graham Moore (The Imitation Game) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Johnathan McClain. The film is led by Oscar winner Mark Rylance as Leonard, an English tailor who has a small shop in Chicago. Joining him are Zoey Deutch, Dylan O’Brien, Johnny Flynn, Simon Russell Beale, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Alan Mehdizadeh.
“The film is a gripping and masterful thriller in which an expert tailor must outwit a dangerous group of mobsters in order to survive a fateful night,” reads the synopsis.

The Outfit is being produced by Scoop Wasserstein, Ben Browning, and Amy Jackson, with FilmNation financing the film. The creative team is also comprised of Oscar-nominee Dick Pope as the director of photography, Oscar-nominee Gemma Jackson as the production designer, and Oscar-winner William Goldenberg as the editor along with Zac Posen and Sophie O’Neill as costume designers.
