The documentary premieres over a month ahead of the debut of the live-action series The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off of The Mandalorian starring Temeura Morrison reprising his role as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The Star Wars series will debut on the streamer on Wednesday, December 29.

“The series is described as a thrilling Star Wars adventure,” reads the logline. “It finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
The Mandalorian spin-off is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck, with John Bartnicki, and John Hampian set as producers.
