While many popular anime television series begin as manga, SK8 the Infinity is actually an original anime series produced and animated by Bones. It aired between January and April 2021. The animation company has worked on several popular series including My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mob Psycho, and Godzilla Singular Point. It also worked on many anime films like Cowboy Bebop: The Movie and the upcoming My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission.
SK8 the Infinity does have two manga adaptations. Sk8 Chill Out! has been serialized on the Young Ace Up website since January 2021. The second is based on the actual anime television series, and began serialization in March 2021 on the BookLive! e-book store.
