The critically-acclaimed space simulation game Kerbal Space Program is ready to celebrate its 10-year anniversary in a major way. Publisher Private Division and developers Squad and Blitworks announced that Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition and Kerbal Space Program 2 would heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this fall for $39.99. Owners of Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can upgrade to the current-gen console versions when the game launches, with Kerbal Space Program 2 headed to the consoles in 2022.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition will offer players improved resolutions, advanced shaders, and even better textures than already exist in the game. Better yet, players will also be able to connect a mouse and keyboard into the consoles and play that way should they choose. The current-gen consoles will also be able to run the Enhanced Edition at a higher frame rate than the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
The current version of the game is also getting its “most ambitious free update ever” through its 1.12 update on PC. It includes a whole host of features like an Alarm Clock app, new solar panels, and more.
