According to The Hollywood Reporter, Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg, and Golden Globe nominee Riley Keough have officially signed on to star in an upcoming nihilistic thriller titled Manodrome. Eisenberg is set to portray the leading role of Uber driver and aspiring bodybuilder named Ralphie, while details on Brody and Keough’s characters are still being kept under wraps.
Eisenberg’s notable film credits include The Social Network, Adventureland, Now You See Me, and Zombieland films. He will next be seen in the satirical sci-fi thriller titled Dual, and in the comedy-drama When You Finish Saving the Word which also marks his feature directorial debut.

Manodrome centers around Ralphie, who gets inducted into a libertarian masculinity cult and loses his grip on reality when his repressed desires are awakened. The project is set to be unveiled at the virtual Cannes market.
The film will be directed by South African filmmaker John Trengrove (The Wound) in his English-language feature debut. It will be produced by Keough, Gina Gammell, and Ryan Zacarias through their Felix Culpa banner, along with Ben Giladi’s Rainmaker Entertainment.

Brody became the youngest actor to win an Oscar for Best Actor for his acclaimed performance in The Pianist. He will next be seen in Wes Anderson’s long-awaited film The French Dispatch as well as in TV shows such as Epix’s series adaptation of Jerusalem’s Lot, and Succession Season 3.
Keough’s notable film credits include Mad Max: Fury Road, American Honey, It Comes at Night, Logan Lucky, Under the Silver Lake and The Lodge. She will next be seen in A24’s biopic dramedy Zola and Antoine Fuqua’s crime thriller The Guilty.
