WWE RAW and SmackDown are two of television’s most popular shows and now World Wrestling Entertainment is looking for even more athletes and entertainers to join their ranks. WWE will host a multi-day talent tryout in Las Vegas as part of SummerSlam week. Both male and female performers are encouraged to showcase their abilities as a group will be selected to begin training at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando.
“Talent is the lifeblood of our industry and these tryouts coupled with SummerSlam, one of our premier events, will help us discover world-class athletes that will serve as the next wave of WWE Superstars,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development.
Those that want to be a part of the talent tryouts can visit the WWE Performance Center’s website. The site includes “step-by-step instructions on how to register, an overview of the many resources available to WWE Performance Center recruits, photos of the entire Performance Center roster, biographies of the industry-leading coaching staff, testimonials from RAW and SmackDown Superstars, and videos from past tryouts”
SummerSlam takes place Saturday, August 21 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which will be the first time the yearly event has been held in a National Football League stadium. It will also be one of the stadium’s first sporting events held at full capacity since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, June 18. The show will air live exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and on the WWE Network worldwide.
Additional information on the talent tryouts, including the location, will be announced in the near future on WWE’s website.
