During today’s Netflix’s Geeked Week, The Duffer Brothers announced that Anne with an E star Amybeth McNulty has officially signed for a key role in the long-awaited fourth season of Stranger Things, which is currently still in production. McNulty is set to portray the role of Vickie, a cool and fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of the main characters.

Netflix has also confirmed the addition of three more cast members in the form of Myles Truitt (Black Lightning), Regina Ting Chen (Queen of the South), and Grace Van Dien (The Binge), who have been cast in the roles of Patrick, Ms. Kelly, and Chrissy, respectively. Their official character descriptions are listed below:
Truitt’s Patrick is a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life…until shocking events send his life spiraling out of control.
Chen’s Ms. Kelly is a popular guidance counselor who cares deeply for her students — especially those struggling the most.
Van Dien’s Chrissy is Hawkins’ High lead cheerleader and the most popular girl in school. But beneath the seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret.

Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl.
The series currently stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Thurman-Hawke as Robin, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman and Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair.
Season 4 will also introduce a number of new characters including Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street) as Victor Creel, Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd) as Peter Ballard, Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) as Argyle, and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) as Eddie Munson, who are set as series regulars. Meanwhile, Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands) as Lt. Colonel Sullivan, Mason Dye (Bosch) as Jason Carver, Nikola Djuricko (Legends) as Yuri, and Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) as Dmitri will be recurring characters.

Stranger Things is created and executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson.
