Byung-hun Lee, the actor who played Storm Shadow in both “G.I. Joe” films, has joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming Terminator: Genesis, says The Hollywood Reporter, along with “Mad Men” actor Michael Gladis and “House of Cards” actress Sandrine Holt. No word on who these three will play in the upcoming reboot, though production is expected to begin on the film later this month.
The first in a stand-alone trilogy, Terminator: Genesis will also star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, and J.K. Simmons. David Ellison will produce with Laeta Kalorgridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) attached to write the screenplay. Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor is directing, targeting a July 1, 2015 release.
