A little over a year after initially being announced, B.J. Novak’s ensemble thriller Vengeance has expanded its cast once again as Why Women Kill star Analeigh Tipton has signed on to join the roster of the Blumhouse and Focus Features-produced pic, according to Deadline.

The film, which is being penned by the Emmy-nominated The Office alum and helmed by him in his directorial debut, is keeping its plot close to the chest but reportedly recently wrapped production in Santa Fe after being delayed from its original March 2020 start date.
In addition to writing and directing, Novak is leading an ensemble cast that includes Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Issa Rae (Insecure, The Lovebirds), Ashton Kutcher (That ’70s Show, The Ranch), Boyd Holbrook (Eight for Silver, The Sandman), Dove Cameron (Descendants, Schmigadoon!), Isabella Amara (The Boss, Spider-Man: Homecoming) and J. Smith Cameron (Christine, Succession).
Jason Blum is producing the project through his Blumhouse label alongside Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath for Divide/Conquer, while Leigh Kilton-Smith, Chris Warner and Novak are all set as executive producers on the film.

After placing third in Cycle 11 of The CW’s America’s Next Top Model, Tipton enjoyed a quick rise to stardom in both the film and TV worlds, scoring roles in HBO’s Emmy-nominated comedy Hung, the acclaimed rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love, Scarlet Johansson-led Lucy, ABC rom-com sitcom Manhattan Love Story and formerly CBS All Access dark comedy Why Women Kill. She may next be seen in James Franco’s The Long Home, which has sat finished and awaiting a release acquisition for four years.
