Hey there, fellow couch potatoes! In this week’s edition of DEG’s Watched at Home Top 20, The Croods: A New Age and Greenland continue to duke it out for the top two spots, but the remaining list receives a much needed jolt as five, repeat FIVE, new films joined the list.
RELATED: March 2 Blu-ray, Digital and DVD Releases
The Top 5 from last week remained mostly the same aside from Let Him Go’s drop from No. 4 to No. 7, replaced by rising star Freaky (up from No. 6). Then, things get weird. First up, Wrong Turn, a reboot of the 2003 thriller starring Eliza Dushku, made its debut at No. 6, followed closely by new titles When Calls the Heart Season 8 (No. 11), Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scooby-Doo (No. 18) and Snowfall Season 4 (No. 19).
Also, Spider-Man: Homecoming, in large part due to the excitement over the news regarding Spider-Man: No Way Home, made its debut on the list at No. 17. Knowing your proclivity to rewatch past films ahead of a sequel release, it’ll be interesting to see how many Marvel, DC and MonsterVerse films pop up here over the next several weeks. March is gonna be fun!
