Gabrielle is set to star as Marienne, a smart, no-nonsense librarian who lives in Joe & Love’s neighborhood and doesn’t let much get by her. Speedman will star in a major recurring role as Matthew, a successful CEO, husband, and uncommunicative father. He’s reserved, at times mysterious, and has a tendency to be withdrawn, all of which masks a deep well of emotion underneath.

Starring Penn Badgley (Margin Call, Gossip Girl) and Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor), Season 2 of the series was loosely based on the second novel of Caroline Kepnes’ series, Hidden Bodies, following Joe Goldberg (Badgley) as he travels to Los Angeles and meets aspiring chef Love Quinn (Pedretti), who is uninterested in social media the way his previous love interest was.

You Season 2 also starred Ambyr Childers (The Master), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Adwin Brown (Heathers), Chris D’Elia (Workaholics), James Scully (Heathers), Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) and Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll).

In Season 1 of You, a brilliant male bookstore manager (Penn Badgley) who crosses paths with an aspiring female writer (Elizabeth Lail), pushes the limits of “love” to the test. A charming yet awkward crush becomes something even more sinister when the writer becomes the manager’s obsession. Using social media and the internet, he uses every tool at his disposal to become close to her, even going so far as to remove any obstacle — including people — that stands in his way of getting to her
