In a recent interview with TVLine, award-winning creator Amy Sherman-Palladino offered an update about the upcoming fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, revealing that they’ve already started pre-production with costume fittings and set buildings currently happening. She also confirmed that they’re planning to start filming for the new season on January 7, 2021, which would be over a year since the third season had debuted last December 2019.
“We’re starting back on January 7,” Sherman-Palladino said. “Costume fittings are happening [now], sets are being built like mad. All of the stuff is happening.
She continued, “We’re breaking our stories, we’re writing. And then in December we’re dragging the actors in and we’re going to table read the scripts. And then, come January 7, it’s, ‘On your mark, get set, go.”
