Steven  Yeun is headlining the series as Mark Grayson/Invincible, with Zazie Beetz as Mark’s girlfriend, Amber Bennett; and Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve.  Additionally, Seth Rogen will voice Allen the Alien, with Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Splode, and Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman. Kirkman also revealed that Yeun’s fellow Walking Dead veterans Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Lauren Cohan, Lennie James, and Ross Marquand will lend their voices to the Guardians of the Globe. Another Walking Dead cast member, Khary Payton, has an undisclosed role in Invincible.

The original Invincible comic book ran from 2003 to 2017, and it followed Mark’s journey as a hero. It was also known for its unflinching approach to comic book violence, which will be intact for the show.

Amazon Prime’s Invincible animated series will premiere in 2021. The first season will run for eight episodes.
