Watched at Home: Top 20 Streaming Films for the Week of July 10

Hey there, fellow couch potatoes! For the second week in a row, Trolls World Tour dominated the streaming charts (via DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group). The colorful DreamWorks animated sequel has certainly taken advantage of sparse competition and come to the aid of millions of scrambling parents pining for something to entertain their kids with during lockdown.

Screen Media Films’ The Outpost, starring Orlando Bloom, Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones, Milo Gibson, and Jack Kesy, leaped to No. 2 thanks to phenomenal reviews (92% on RottenTomatoes) and solid word of mouth. Not to mention a good ole fashioned dash of Americana. (The movie is actually pretty great. Hard to watch at times, but a stellar tribute to American soldiers.)

Speaking of Americana, Yellowstone Seasons 1-3 take up the next three spots, followed by the usual holdovers in The Invisible Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Jumanji: The Next Level, The Hunt, Bad Boys for Life, etc. Though, shaking things up slightly was the debut of Mel Gibson’s Force of Nature, which actually sounds like a pretty cool flick despite its meager 10% on RT.

And yes, Harry Potter remains as well.
