Emmett/Furla Films announcing on Monday at the Sundance Film Festival that Lindsay Lohan has signed to star in and produce the company’s psychological thriller Inconceivable. The $5 million movie will start production in March.
Lionsgate’s Grindstone will release Inconceivable in New York and Los Angeles before the film heads to VOD and DVD. Lohan will be involved in choosing a director, who should be hired before the end of the month, said the company.
Emmet/Furla films produced Universal’s Lone Survivor, which has earned over $77 million domestically. Lohan last starred in The Canyons, the Paul Schrader-directed film which made $51,135 in just a few theaters.
