After nearly 9 years since Daniel Radcliffe had made his last appearance as Harry Potter in 2011’s Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which was the eighth and final installment to the long-running franchise, Radcliffe is finally revisiting the J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World as he joins other celebrities including Fantastic Beasts lead Eddie Redmayne in a special reading event of the first book Philosopher’s Stone/ Sorcerer’s Stone. The special event is part of the Harry Potter At Home initiative that was launched to help bring the magic of Harry Potter to children, parents, and caregivers during the ongoing global pandemic.
Daniel Radcliffe is starting the event by reading Chapter 1: “The Boy Who Lived,” which is now available for viewing through the Wizarding World website and for listening on Spotify.
