The horror short is set in the same vein as Sandberg’s breakout directorial debut Lights Out, itself based on one of his shorts, in which the Swedish director toys with the element of light to torment the female alone in her house. Sandberg took to Twitter to also reveal he will soon be releasing a making-of on how he put the short together

Prior to making one of the best-reviewed films in the DC Extended Universe, Sandberg was quickly making a name for himself in the modern horror scene, with Warner Bros. having acquired the feature rights to his acclaimed horror short Lights Out, which became a runaway critical and commercial success, and following it up with the second installment in the Annabelle franchise, which also proved to be the highest-reviewed and grossing entry in the series.
