The project first announced this past October, director Alistair Legrand’s The Diabolical has found its lead. Deadline reports that “Heroes” and Resident Evil franchise star Ali Larter will headline the supernatural thriller.
The Diabolical follows Madison and her children in their quiet suburban home as they are awoken nightly by an increasingly strange and intense presence. Madison desperately seeks help from her scientist boyfriend Nikolai, who begins a hunt to destroy the violent spirit that paranormal experts are too frightened to undertake.
Behind the film are producers Ross M. Dinerstein of Preferred Film & TV and Jamie Carmichael of Content, who collaborated on this year’s Dark Summer and The Pact 2.
