According to Deadline, Aubrey Plaza has joined Michael Caine in Lina Roessler’s directorial debut Best Sellers.
Per the report, the story follows Caine’s washed up author, who ends up on a book tour with a young editor played by Plaza, who is trying to save her father’s boutique publishing house. Caine initially wants to live out his days in peace, but Plaza’s hopeful editor inspires him to move out of his reclusion.

Roessler directs from a script based on Anthony Grieco’s original screenplay, which won a 2015 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting award.
Arielle Elwes, Cassian Elwes, Petr Jákl, Wayne Marc Godfrey, Jonathan Vanger and Pierre Even will produce the pic.

Plaza was last seen in the remake of Child’s Play. The Parks and Recreation star recently wrapped Black Bear, which she stars opposite Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon.
