Hounsou, whose upcoming credits include Charlie’s Angels, The King’s Man, and the TV series What If…?, joins Emily Blunt, who returns for A Quiet Place 2 alongside cast members Noah Jupe (Suburbicon, Wonder) and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck), with John Krasinski set to write and direct again. Golden Globe nominee Cillian Murphy (Breakfast on Pluto) and Brian Tyree Henry (Child’s Play) will also star in the sequel, which has a release date of March 20, 2020.
2018’s A Quiet Place opened in theaters in April of that year and grossed over $334 million worldwide on a $17 million dollar budget.
In the modern horror thriller, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you. The film has minimal dialogue, because silence is survival.
