Coming in for a landing this Friday, Disney’s Planes offers fans a chance to travel high above the world of Cars, offering an adventure that features the voice talents of Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher, Cedric the Entertainer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese, Carlos Alazraqui, Priyanka Chopra and many more.
Dusty Crophopper (Cook) may be a small town crop-duster, but that doesn’t stop him from dreaming big. With the help of a veteran war plane, Skipper (Keach) and a group of friends that includes his friendly forklift pal Dottie (Hatcher), Dusty works to become an expert racer. He’s just got to overcome the one major flaw in his plan: he’s scared of heights.
ComingSoon.net traveled to the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, California to sit down with Cook, Hatcher and director Klay Hall amidst some real-world airplanes to discuss how they built upon the world of John Lasseter’s Cars and Cars 2. Check out the interviews in the player below and catch Disney’s Planes in 2D and 3D theaters August 9.
