Universal Pictures picked up Dumb and Dumber To in June after Warner Bros. had passed on the sequel and it sounds like things are moving right along.
Jeff Daniels made an appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and was asked about the sequel. He said that he is scheduled to start shooting in September with Jim Carrey and mentioned that the movie will be released next year, the 20th Anniversary of the 1994 comedy hit.
“I’ve seen the script. It’s hysterical,” Daniels said, adding, “Were middle-aged, were not pretending we aren’t. We’re middle-aged and were still that stupid.”
