Netflix has released the trailer for Undercover, a 10-episode series about a drug dealer’s seemingly normal life and the cops from two countries on the path to stop him. You can check out the trailer in the player below!
One of the largest ecstasy producers in the world, Ferry Bouman, lives a charmed life in his villa on the Dutch-Belgian border. But things start to change when two undercover agents move into his territory, attempt to infiltrate Bouman’s life and shut down his network.
However, Bouman is slippery, so the Belgian and Dutch police forces decide to join forces to try and take him down. They install their two best undercover agents as a camping couple in a chalet close to Bouman and his wife.
The series stars Tom Waes (Safety First: The Movie), Anna Drijver (Love Life) and Frank Lammers (Night Run).

Undercover comes as part Netflix’s push to produce more international and foreign language content, which includes a trio of German-language series, including The Wave, which was announced last year. Additionally, a series aimed to give a new spin on The French Revolution is also in the works as the streamer is doing more in assuring the rights to the shows it acquires elsewhere can be seen on-demand the world-over.
Some of this strategy could be stemming from the success they saw with this year’s Roma, their Spanish-language feature film which has swept this year’s awards season ahead of the Oscars later this month.
The 10-episode series Undercover premieres on Netflix May 3rd.
