Warner Bros. Pictures’ Blended, the new romantic comedy that re-teams Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore with their The Wedding Singer director Frank Coraci, has added a new cast member in the form of Chelsea Handler. Variety reports that Handler will play best friend to Barrymore’s character.
Said to deal with blended families, the film will also feature a role for Joel McHale.
Handler, best known for hosting a variety of talk shows including “Chelsea Lately” and “After Lately,” has recently appeared in a number of big screen films like Hop, This Means War and Fun Size.
Blended is set for release on May 23, 2014.
