EA Games and Oscar-nominated director Neill Blomkamp have teamed up for Conviction, an original live-action short-film based on BioWare’s Anthem. The short film will explore the colossal world created by Anthem in an all-new story set decades before the game begins. The live-action short invites viewers to experience Anthem through an all-new lens with stunning environments, new characters and breathtaking visuals. The new shared-world action-RPG from EA’s BioWare studio, Anthem lets players team up with friends as Freelancers — the bold few with the courage to leave civilization behind and explore a landscape of primeval beauty, confront the dangers you find and grow in power with every step.

Players will be able to suit up and explore the world of Anthem when it launches on February 22 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Origin Access Premier members can be the first to play the full game with unlimited access on PC beginning Friday, February 15, while EA Access and Origin Access Basic members can enjoy up to 10 hours of play time as part of the Play First Trial.
Blomkamp, meanwhile, is currently working on Robocop Returns for MGM, and helped start a rumor that Peter Weller may be in the title role.
